When we moved to Orlando from New York in the early 70's the first place my parents staked out was a decent Italian restaurant and pizza place.
There are lots of good NY style pizza places in the area -- Boardwalk Pizza, Amelias Restaurant, Brooklyn Pizza come to mind -- but most of the ones close to WDW seem to be the typical chains. Giordanos sounds promising, though, we'll have to check it out next time we're there.

Nah! Pizza's subjective. We've been quoted in newspapers, television and on the radio for our expertise in the industry, but actually, I like Papa Murphy's take-and-bake A LOT!
I can have a crispy pizza in 16 minutes from my own oven and don't have to wait an hour for crappy delivery (although I admit I do order Papa John's every now and then if I can't make it to a real pizzeria).
