Pizza size at Via Napoli?

1) Must have been the 20" diameter size.
2) The next size is 1/2-meter in diameter!

1/2 pepperoni / 1/2 margherita fed our family of four (including 2 teens) with a couple of pieces to take 'home' which DS (17) decided to enjoy while we walked around the WS.

This was THE best meal of our entire trip!!!

We went twice last trip because Via Napoli is my FAVORITE! I am a lucky girl in that my hubby and our friends were willing to indulge me twice.

First time - 6 adults, 2 mezza (sp?) pizzas (that is the big rectangle one) and salad for two, 4 of us split a pitcher of beer, one person had a wine flight, two people split dessert (zeppole) We finished every bite of pizza but were probably full before the last two pieces were eaten (it was so good, it wasn't going to waste)

Second time - 4 adults - 1 mezza pizza and the frito misto app, two beers, one diet coke, one half bottle of wine. This was plenty and we left full but would have probably eaten more pizza if it had been there.

Mom and I each got an appetizer, shared the individual pizza, and then each got dessert. We could not finish everything. Honestly, we could have shared an appetizer as well.

We did Via back when they would let 2 people share a large. We were on DxDP so we each had an app, then we split the large pizza, then we each had dessert. I think there were 2 slices of pizza left when we were done and it was just the two of us. So I would say 3 people max could share this - IF you aren't on DDP. As others of have said, they are now strict that you must order an individual if on DDP.

Thanks all for the advice. We are not on the DDP, so I think we will go for splitting a large. I think that will be plenty for us since Mom is not a big eater, and I am, so it should even out. If for some reason we find ourselves still hungry we can waltz over to France as others have suggested for dessert : )

Ok thinking of going here since its serves one of the limited food groups my son will eat, Pepperoni Pizza.

In the sizes, is the Mezzo Metro the 1/2 meter (aka 19" or so) pizza or is the large the half meter? In my neck of the woods a 1/2 meter pizza would I guest be an extra large.

I've been checking some pics and it seems like the 1/2 meter is more oval than round.

Also glad we can do half and half.

ETA: not on DDP

Yes, the pizza in your post is the Mezzo Metro and the photo back in post #5 of this thread shows the Large.

My DH and I uh ally get an individual size to share and add the tossed salad for two. It is the perfect amount of food for us.

This is exactly what DH and I do. We do not get the dining plan.

Thanks this trip coming up is a big jump for us. We have two count'em two ts restaurants planned. Its tough finding food that my 23, yes 23, year old son will eat. Besides breakfast, I think I only found 2 others on the entire property he would eat more than bread.

Also we are not foodies and can't imagine spending $25+ per person for a meal. We also don't stay on site due to the cost so DDP. Maybe next trip when my sons are on their own.

I would say the individual pizza is as big as a dinner plate..so maybe 10 inches? We also loved this place last time so much that we went twice.

The first time, we used the dining plan. Each of us got an individual pizza and a dessert.

The second time, we paid out of pocket and shared a large pizza. We had plenty. We are 2 adults and our 6 year old son. No desserts that time. It was a very affordable meal.

Here's a photo of my husband's individual sausage pizza. The second picture is the child size cheese pizza. The sausage pizza tasted great!! I will say I needed a tums later in the night. But it was worth it. Yummy! I want to try the pepperoni next trip.

Question for both of you.......does the tossed salad for two come with dressing already on it like Olive Gardens or do they give you choices for dressings?
