Where should we order new york style pizza from outside "THE WORLD"?
Staying @ AA which is near POP. Anyone ever done this?? Husband & I really enjoy a night in w/ some good pizza on vacation. Thanks!

We are at WBC right now currently awaiting our 2nd Flippers delivery of our trip! Flippers is very good pizza.

I really don't like Flippers...at all. Ordered their take-out once when we were staying on-site at Universal, but this was several years ago. We love Giordanos but they don't deliver- they're on 535- take a left as you exit the DTD area onto 535, then Giordano's isn't too far on the right hand side. Of course, you'd need a car. They do have take-out if you prefer to bring it back to your resort. There's usually a restaurant.com voucher for Giordanos too, but it's for eat-in only.

We always order from Flippers and have it delivered at least once while we are in Disney. On our last trip we found Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza in Dr. Phillips and loved it! We will definitely be going back.

We ordered from Giordanos on our trip a couple of years ago...and had it delivered to BLT. It was very good and we ate the leftovers a couple of days later! Maybe they dont deliver anymore, but call and see. They did for us and there were a few different stores. We just had to figure out the right one.

Gio's is good, but not ny style. Flippers is awesome...but SO much better if you eat AT the restaurant. It's brick oven pizza so it comes out crispy yet gooey....yum, yum. But when it's put into a box the steam gets to it. Still very good (I can attest to good leftovers ) but eating is fresh is best.

Pizza in Orlando is not really good at all and not what your used to eating.t. I know it is just a matter of what you are used to but 13 trips later to wdw and I have not met a pizza I liked..

I agree. Orlando pizza is subpar. I have tried both Giordanos and Flippers and found both mediocre. And I'm from Ohio, so it's not like the pizza snob capital of the world or anything.

wow that is really surprising to me. We took my nephew and his wife there and now they go out of their way when they are in Orlando to go to Flippers. Then, we took my sis and bil and they do the same thing now. huh. It's true how everybody is different.

Love Flippers. It's a must every trip. DD is attending UCF in the fall and she's already checked, and yup, there is a Flippers right across from the campus!
