Pizza/Flatbreads at Mama Melrose

Have an ADR there in Dec for my DD's Bday. Just checked the menu on the Disney site, are they no longer offering pizzas and flatbread?

Also, we have a 5pm ADR and were planning to watch the Jingle Bam! Show and Fireworks after (6:45), do you think this will give us enough time to get a decent viewing spot? I can change to a little earlier.

We had the flatbread pizza last month . Back in September they weren't offered because they were doing work in the kitchen. The website just hasn't caught up .

No, a 5Pm won't provide enough time for a decent viewing spot for a 6:45 show. People start staking spots for the projection shows around 5-5:30, as sightlines matter a lot for the HS shows.

We ate there in August and told our server how much we love the mushroom flatbread. She told us they would be taking the flatbreads off the menu for a few months because someone (don't remember is she said it was a new manger or a new head chef) wanted to see if the price per check would go up without the flatbreads a choice. I don't know if it is true or not.

What a bizarre reason for a server to tell a guest. They did do work in their kitchen and that did cause the oven to go out of service. Why wouldn't they just tell you that instead of something that even if true, not professional to tell a customer.

We had it in Oct. And in our case, the check would go down. We eat one as our appetizer. Without it, we wouldn't get an appetizer at all. So they'd loose money.
