Pizza by the slice

From grouching you didn't get the biggest slice to being obtuse over the shape of a box. Those are some first world problems there.

Wasn't asking for the biggest slice, but certainly complaining about getting the smallest one. I would think my money is as good as anyone else's, so why should I get 2/3 as much as the guy before me when I paid the same amount of money?

I've seen people ask for particular slices (I presume for sauce/cheese ratio, more toppings or something like that), have you tried doing that?

I've done that before, but not often and never at this place. This place is known for just a single version every day and they just come out as fast as they can. Usually it's pretty evenly cut, and then they always thrown on a small piece on top. I've never complained about getting one that was too small until this time. It was like "really?"
 

Square slices I've really only seen in either artisan-style thin crust or STL style. I'm sure there have been others but those two come to mind.

I miss this one STL style pizza place that was so good but has since closed down---provel cheese, thin crust, italian sausage yum. Here's a pic of what the pizza would look like (taken from google)

As far as uneven slices eh it happens it doesn't annoy me though unless I was paying for a tiny slice the same as a larger slice. Most of the time when I've seen that where a slice is tiny the person just gives you two small slices to make up basically for the smaller size.

I feel like if we use some of the ideas from the grilled cheese thread and meld them with the ideas from this thread, we can come up with the perfectly sliced grilled cheese.
 
I've only seen Sicilian pies sliced into squares or rectangles, not regular round pies. I have never seen a slice of pizza from a regular pizzeria sliced so unevenly that it's even noticeable.
Our "local" place out in the middle of nowhere while I was still married was good pizza except it was round pizza and they cut it in squares (or straight I suppose you can describe it.) I don't understand that, someone will be eating the soggier middle part by itself. I did not like their pizza mainly because of how they cut it.

Some people prefer the inside pieces of cakes or brownies. That's basically the same thing.

My biggest problem with corrugated cardboard pizza "boxes" is that the grease tends to soak through them. I guess this new one from Pizza Hut uses "compostable" material like a lot of new plastic-like takeout containers. I don't particularly like cardboard (egg container style) takeout containers since they tend to soak through quickly. But the plasticky compostable containers seem to last long enough without soaking through.
