We always loved going to Via Napoli. Looking at the menu now, it seems things have changed. All I'm seeing is white pizza for the most part. The only pizza with tomato sauce is the spicy sausage. Can you no longer get a tomato-based pepperoni with added toppings?

When we went in February we were definitely able to get tomato based with pepperoni, even with the limited menu. I can’t remember if more toppings were offered though. We normally get pepperoni & mushrooms, so it wasn’t a big enough difference either way to stick in my memory.

You can still get all the normal pizza toppings - I think the Disney website doesn't show everything, but when you sit down you'll scan a QR code that will bring you directly to Via Napoli's website/the Patina Group and the menu has more options.

We just had pepperoni about a month ago - it wasn't listed on the menu but we just asked.

The table next to us ordered it for their dinner, too, once they saw it delivered to our table. They didn't know it was an option! I'm not sure why the menu is so limited...

Just got back and we ate at Via Napoli. It’s not on the menu, but you can create your own pizza. I had a red sauce with pepperoni and it was delicious!

We dined there last week. The pizza menu is confusing, but you can pick a base pizza and then add toppings at $3-$7 per topping for the pizza.
the crust is thin, but still slightly chewy. We did enjoy it.

We were there several weeks ago and had both a sausage and a pepperoni pizza- I honestly think they were some of the best pizzas we’ve ever had! My family of five picky eaters all agreed too!

Thanks for great replies… wish I had pizza now!
Did you happen to notice if they were selling pizza by the slice at the window next to the front entrance?
I hope they open the quick service window on weekends soon.

Via Napoli's menu has changed and rather than being called "create your own", they start with "The Margherita" which is the pizza base. From there you add your toppings. Trust me, when we dined there on 10/8/21, we were confused and so was the poor kid who waited on us. We insisted we didn't want a margherita pizza, but rather the "create your own". After some back and forth (and receiving our drinks), I scanned the QR code and realized we were both speaking about the same pizza--tomato sauce base with mozzarella cheese AND we added/subtracted (no basil) from there.

Felt bad for our poor server and tipped him well, but when we hear margherita pizza, we do not think of the classic tomato sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese--we think fresh tomatoes, whole basil and homemade mozz balls and that's it. We simply had a "failure to communicate".

You can also ask for it if its not on the menu, thats what we did. We love this place and the Downtown Disney location one too.

We usually get pepperoni and mushrooms. It's our favorite. We would be fine with just pepperoni though.

They were selling slices in September!
