Pizza at Pop?

In our planning, we had decided to get pizza at the Pop Century food court and have a pizza by the pool night during our stay. I am now wondering if we should just pay for this OOP and use our credits elsewhere. What do you get when you get a pizza at your hotel food court? Is it good pizza? Would it be enough serve 2 adults and 2 kids? If you got in room pizza delivery, do you get drinks and a dessert and such or just the pizza? We will have use of a vehicle and I am just wondering if we should just go and get Pizza Hut or even stop by CiCi's pizza and have a quick dinner and then go to the pool.

As long as they have not changed this on our last trip we got a whole pizza and two drinks and 2 desserts for two counter service credits at Pop. Well worth the credits. Just ask when you go up to order if they are still doing it. I think the pizza at Pop is good while others disagree and say you can not get good pizza at disney. It is all in what you like and are use to. My parents and in laws also liked it. To me it is just as good as pizza hut and other fast food chains. It is plenty for two adults and two kids. Last Sept. we had four adults sharing one pizza and it was plenty. We had resort mugs so only getting two drinks was not a problem. Than for the other two desserts we used snack credits is all. You could also share the ice creams as they are plenty big enough esp. after filling up on pizza. I have read on the boards that pizza hut will deliver to the resorts as well.

POP pizza is good when it's fresh. Last time we got it it looked like they gave us someone's order who just didn't pick it up. It was all dried out and not good at all.

In our experience, the pizza in the food court is better and fresher than the in-room delivery. Plus you have more options for toppings.

In-room pizza delivery will cost you 2 table service credits if you are on the dining plan as well. Where as I posted above ordering it in the food court will cost 2 counter service credits. As long as nothing has changed since last Dec.

If your used to Pizza Hut type pizza then Disneys pizza will probably be okay for you. If your used to New York style pizza then you will probably be disapointed.

I don't think the Pizza is good. If you're not too concerned about the money, have Giordano's deliver. It is a little pricier, but it's absolutely the best pizza I've ever had in my life!

We did this when we stayed a few weeks ago at Pop. 2 CS credits for the pizza, 2 desserts, and two drinks. Our kids only drink water so the 2 drinks worked out great for us. There were 2 adults and 2 children and it was more than enough food for all of us. We actually liked the pizza just fine and we thought it was a very good use of CS credits because we had been using 4 CS credits at meals so this saved us 2 credits to feed the 4 of us.

We have ordered Domino's several times while staying at WDW resorts. They deliver to the main building and for 20 bucks you can't beat it. I am sure other local chains or pizzerias will deliver as well. If I am not mistaken some will even deliver a six pack to wash it down with.......
