Were heading to WDW for 1 day next week (:goodvibes) The kids think were going to TL for day. We haven't been since 08, so my DD hasn't met Tinker Bell yet. Where is Pixie Hollow located exactly?? Are they in the tent beside MM house, where the Princess's use to be?? "I can't wait to see the look on there faces when we enter the gates at MK instead of the parking lot of TL:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

They are in the Toontown Hall of Fame.Which is right where the princesses are

Pixie Hollow is in the tent next to the Mickey and Minnie's houses. There are two lines, one for princesses and one for the fairies. To avoid the longest lines be at Toon Town rope drop at 10am. Lines will only get longer as the day goes on! Average wait time seems to be an hour. Good Luck!!

It is advertised as 10:00, but actually opens at 9:45

We got in line at the rope at 9:30. In spite of waiting for rope drop, we were in the second group of the day to see the fairies. Later in the day the waits were over 2 hours.

Or go late in the evening to avoid lines.

Yes, we went at the end of the evening and hit the princess area and tink all at the same time (within half an hour) and this was on Thanksgiving night! There wasn't anyone there to see them then. It was around 45 minutes before they stopped seeing people. We then left there and went to the judge's tent and got a pic with Mickey and Minnie.

I say get to toontown at no later than say 9:40. the past 2 times we have done this and this year dd was first in line,. By the time we walked out the line said 60 minutes. I like doing it first that way it is not lurking over you all day about making sure you get there. I have 2 boys so waiting over an hour was not going to happen for us

How late? On our last night, we're eating at Tony's at 6 p.m. I was thinking of letting DD wear her Tink costume that night & seeing the fairies. By then, we should have ridden all the rides after a couple of full days at MK, so I wouldn't mind waiting with DD & DH could go off on his own if he wanted to.

I am amazed by this thread. I had no idea that Tink was usually so hard to get a greet with. My DD (who adores Tink) and I walked up to Pixie Hollow in the middle of the day last Sept. and got all the Fairies AND Princess autographs within 30 minutes. We didn't even know Tink was going to be there, we were going for Princess autographs as we had the year before. DD was absolutely thrilled (as was I by the short wait!) Now I'm concerned about this year as I know it's gonna be a must for every trip.

We got *bad advice* to go at the end of the day.

I know every day at Disney is different but...we were killing time before Wishes, so I took my DD to Pixie Hollow and my DH took our DS to some other rides. When we got to Pixie Hollow the wait time was 60 min. Since I was meeting DH in an hour I just decided to wait. When I got up to the last person in line, she informed that they had been in line for 15 mins and had not moved. Since my DD (3) had no idea what we were in line for, I got out. I glance at the time as I was walking out and it had changed to 75 mins!!!:scared1:

Next time we will be at Rope Drop!!! and thanks PPs for the tip to get there before 10am!:thumbsup2

I realized from previous pixie hollow threads that apparently it's pretty serious!!! I've change my DD's BBB appt for the 3rd time to accomindate to seeing Tink and her friends... But Im planning on being there at rope drop...

Wish me luck!!!

I should know the answer to this by now, but alas I do not. Where exactly is the Toontown rope drop? I ask because on the MK map Toontown looks very open. I REALLY don't want to mess this up for my DD so I want to know exactly where we need to go for those Fairies :)

You give me hope! :goodvibes

I'm still going to get there early for rope-drop and expect a long line-up, but now I have hope! Maybe this Sept will be the same for us.
