Pixie Hollow questions

I did a little search before asking these questions, but I didn't come up with much that helped.

Much to the chagrin of my DH, DD2 has really taken to Tinker Bell since Granny gave her some Tinker Bell PJs for her birthday. (There have been some nights with short tantrums when these PJs aren't clean. Thankfully those aren't very often).

I see where Pixie Hollow is on the map, so I don't need to know where it is.

I've read that the times Tink is out can begin anywhere from 9 to 11 and on to about 5. Is there a place online that I can find this out for certain before we go?

Also, it's other fairies and Tink, right? I'm assuming from videos that we just haven't seen yet. We've been sticking to classics and MMC. Do you have to see the other fairies, or can you just go straight to Tink?

How long is this line normally? I do not want to spend a million hours in line for characters, but I want my Bug to see Tink if we can.

Thank you!

You cannot skip the other fairies and go straight to Tink as it is all one line and Tink is at the end of the line. Basically seeing the other fairies are a way to enjoy your time in line instead of just standing around.

There is a cast member at the entrance to Pixie Hollow with a sign that will tell you how long the wait is to see Tinkerbell. I think we waited 30 minutes. We saw Tinkerbell, Vidia, and Silver Mist.

About what time during the day did you go? Just trying to get a feel for how to block out.

Thank you!

I think Pixie Hollow opens an hour after the park does, check your map when you get there. We do some Fantasyland rides then go over to Pixie Hollow and wait for it to open. I have always seen Tink but you can confirm with cast members before getting in line. Sometimes the line gets long later in the day but it is a cute area with fountains and little girls love it.

My daughter (age 5) loved it. My wife and her waited roughly 45 minutes while my son and I went on Matterhorn at 11AM or so last September. We have quite a few photopass pics from there and I can post a few if you'd like. We were there in the fall and they did not have a bunch of fairies, maybe they had 3 plus Tink?

When we went it was just Silvermist and then Tink. We waited about 30 minutes. It was a Friday morning and we went about 2 hours after opening, maybe a bit less.

We decided to go right when a parade was getting ready to start. Absolutely no line and the CM said if you don't care about watching the parade, it's the perfect time to go. We had watched the parade already the previous day. The year before we waited around 30 min. Both times we have only seen 2 fairies total, always Tinkerbell. I know many people have seen 3 total.

When we went the first week in October we waited about 30 mins. It was sprinkling but there was still a line for PH. As the PP said, it is one continuous line so you can't skip the other 2 unless you are the first one in...I suppose then you could. We got there around 10:30 am. HTH....the pictures were beautiful and worth 30 mins to me....also have her have her pic taken in front of castle so they can add the fairy to her hand...love that one too.

My daughter just informed me that she met Iridessa (yellow dress, not sure of spelling) and Vidia (purple). She didn't like Vidia because Vidia wanted to know why she didn't have a Vidia sweatshirt and lunchbox instead of Tink. Maybe they usually have two fairies plus Tink and they just change?

That's similar to what I and my then-8 y.o. cousin did. We went while the parade was just finishing moving past and waited no more that 15 minutes. My cousin was completely enthralled with the wait area and the fact that we were "shrinking."

You don't need to see the new Disney Fairies movies, but I think it would help give a fuller interactive experience for your daughter if she knew who she was talking to and what they were talking about. Depending on when you go, though, there may be only one other fairy you "have to endure" before seeing Tinker Bell.

After you have your Pixie visit and the pixies have gone go back and walk into Pixie Hollow (have never seen a line) the whole area is lit and is a little garden of fountains well worth a few minutes of your time to see the pixies world at night.

They used to have two fairies at the first stop, meanwhile it's only one. Last year we've mostly met Terence at the first stop, followed by Iridessa and Silvermist.

The CMs said Rosetta is hardest to find because she's rarely out, and Terence (the boy fairy) is only called in if one of the girls can't make it.

The fairies at the first stop switch about every half hour. Sometimes when you're lucky and catch the switch you can still get a picture with both fairies sharing the first stop. I have one with Terence and Iridessa from last year.

Vidia used to hang out with Tink (at the second photo stop) for the new movie, but not sure how long this will continue. It was the same with Terence in 2009 and he was eventually worked in the cast for the first stop.
Vidia did have different schedules, but it seems she was out once an hour for about 20 to 30 minutes.

In 2009 we waited for almost an hour - our new record - but then it turned out something had broken at the first photo stop, so Fawn, Terence and Tink were all at Tink's place. My three favorites in one shot... :dance3:
