Pixie Hollow nightime light show

I just saw a "fresh baked" video on youtube that showed Pixie Hollow lighting up at night time. It looked like some sort of mini-water show. I think my kids would love to see something like that. Is this something that happens nightly, multiple times a night, or just seasonally?

It usually happens at night, kind of late, like 7pm or later, runs about every 20 minutes and lasts for maybe a minute and a half. It's not formally on the schedule, so the start time, or if it happens is kind of iffy. It doesn't run during fireworks and I don't think they do it when the park closes at 8pm.

It's my understanding that it is each night.
I continue to miss it.
I think because it's so small, that I walk right by it.

I believe it runs several times a night. We first discovered it while sitting and waiting for the fireworks to start. I couldn't figure out what it was so I walked over. Short but fun.

Would it run in the winter months when the sun goes down by 6pm?

when we were in DL in January 2012 we happened upon it while sitting waiting for the parade to start. we were sitting at the entrance to the path that leads toward pixie hollow. and while we were waiting to our surprise the light show started on the water. its really pretty, and was really very nice to pass the time watching the water while waiting for the parade. but note that its not a real "show" (as compared to other elaborate Disney shows)....... its really more "ambiance" instead of a show I would say. most people around us were not even noticing it.
