I would love to know what people use for pixie dust. I want to send my girls (4 and 6) some letters for our cruise on Jan 5th with pixie dust in them and spread some around our room. Any ideas!!!
WDW and the ship has confetti shaped like Mickey heads....maybe guest services could get you a small amount. THey throw it on the last night, etc...but a pinch in a letter would be a hit.
I've never seen it for sale. They use it at the Liberty Tree tavern at WDW for birthdays, etc.

If I read this correctly you want to send it to your daughters before the cruise? A couple of suggestions...try to find a punch at a craft store and make whatever you like or....PM me you address and I will see what I can gather off the ship. We are on the repo cruise.
Also if you would like I could send the girls a postcard from the ship. I know it is a bit early but you could save it and place it in the mailbox when the time is right. A word of warning...be careful about the postmark. We recently received a postcard from Mickey Mouse wishing us a happy journey on our repo cruise... Heather (7) noticed the postmark was from New Jersey. I had no idea she knew what a postmark was about. I had to do some fancy tap dancing.
I used yellow flaked cake glitter. The kind that is in flakes not the little granuales. It was very sparkely! I bought it at Michael's. We had traveled prepared because my daughter had lost a tooth and knows that Tinkerbell handles all the "Tooth Fairy" business anywhere Disney. (Apparently Tinkerbell and the ToothFairy are cousins) so we sprinkled pixie dust on the nightstand next to her bed along with her Disney Dollars.
My DD and I ate at Cindrella's castle in Feb 2004 and the Fairy Godmother gave us pixie dust that was the metalic Mickey heads confetti. Maybe this is the official pixie dust of WDW! LOL I don't remember any punches, but at that time they were just getting out the scrapbooking goodies. Try a Hallmarks store, it does seem that I have seen the Mickey confetti somewhere also.
