My DSis, Mary, has been miserable at work for over a year now. She has handled it rather well (better than I could, at least) by reminding herself that its only 25 hours per week, the benefits are good, and the rest of her life is going great. But things really started to fall apart this summer.
After a string of bad luck and unfair actions by management, Mary has finally decided to look for a new job in the company. (The final straw was when she requested leave for our big WDW vacation next summer see my counter and they denied it 51 weeks in advance!)
Heres why I need the PD: Mary has posted for a job as a fraud investigator in the insurance company where we work. Although it would mean she returns to full-time hours, shes really excited about the prospect. I happen to think she is highly qualified and has a great shot at it. Plus, I just found out (before her) that she has won the companys Fraud Spotter Award. The timing is purely coincidence, but couldnt be better. It must be a sign from the Fates that shes meant to get this job.
