Hiya,

Seeing as your pixie dust worked so fantastically for me before (I've been in my new job for 3 weeks now and have loved every moment! :goodvibes ) I'm hoping that you can work some magic for my DF :wizard:

He's got a job interview tomorrow morning, for an IT position. My Dad sent DF's CV to one of the partners at his workplace on Thursday, who then offered him an interview. Since leaving uni, he's really struggled to find a job so our fingers are crossed that this goes well. We really need this so we can move out of my Mom's

So, please, can you make some pixie dust magic for Gary :wizard:

Thanks :thumbsup2

Good Luck! :wizard:

I know how it feels :( Found out my contract at work isn't being renewed therefore I'm out of a job in the next couple of weeks. Rather down about it as boyfriend and I had planned to move out soon and also for the first time ever I had a pretty decent job that I really enjoyed doing :( I absolutely hate jobhunting! It's soul destroying!

I know what you mean. I started looking at the end of March, but didn't actually finish university until the middle of May and managed to start work the second weekend of June. It is soul destroying. I had a total of 3 interviews (and two of those were a first and second interview at my current workplace). The endless 'no' responses or lack of responses at all is awful. BUT you'll get something. You managed to get that job so you'll find something else, and probably enjoy it even more :wizard: Here's some pixie dust for you :goodvibes

Aww thanks for the pixiedust: You're actually quite lucky! I graduated in 2008 (:scared1:) and it was only last year I managed to get a job that actually related to my degree! I find I struggle to get an interview but when I actually do get one I've got quite a good success rate, it's just getting an interview first!

Thanks everyone :goodvibes

They said he'd have to wait 2 weeks to find out...then called soon after and offered him the job! :wizard:

Thanks again soooo much! You haven't failed yet for us :thumbsup2
