We had booked the Desert Party for our upcoming trip in March. When the park hours were extended my mom called Disney to confirm that the party time had been changed. The CM she was talking to didn't understand the details and the misunderstanding resulted in my mom thinking she had to cancel her reservation and book a new one. When she went to book...no availability!
My dad sent an email to Disney to explain the misunderstanding and enquire why the CM led my mom to believe she needed to cancel the ressie. Disney called today to ask about the details and once everything was explained, they reinstated our original reservation! Yeah Disney
