Pixar Play Parade start/finish

We have dinner reservations at Carthay Circle on Saturday, December 13.
We are planning to meet (newby) friends in the park (this is there first time Disney).
Looks like the Pixar Play Parade kicks off at 5:15. I wan to make sure I find a meeting place that will not be impacted by the parade crowds.

Can you tell me where the parade starts?
Do you know when the parade will clear Carthay Circle?

When I saw the parade it was going from ToT to Silly Symphony Swings/Paradise Pier. The parade itself is about 20 minutes. I would probably plan on it being by Carthay Circle around 5:45 (30 minutes after it starts). To be safe, I would opt to meet up somewhere away from Carthay Circle. The flag pole at the entrance to DCA is a pretty easy to find spot, as is the old looking car by Oswald's Garage (first shop on the left as you enter).

Honestly, the best plan (for multiple reasons) is to meet them in the Carthay lounge inside at 5:00. Relax and have a drink before dinner!
