Pixar Party on Alaska cruise ?

Are they doing the Pixar party this year on the Alaska cruise ?
If so, does anyone dress up ?

I'm assuming they don't have the pirate party. So I guess there's no need for Pirate costumes ?

I think they will as no fireworks night, ours was in Juneau.

Yes they are indeed doing this instead of pirate night. Though fun and cute it is in no way to the scale and proportion that pirate night is? Mostly a 20 minute dance party in the atrium with photo ops. A few people had some clever costumes, we had matching t shirts. It was cute!

The dance party occurs twice as well - once at 4pm and again in the 10 o'clock hour ( I want to say 10:30 but it might have been 10?). No need for pirate costumes, no fireworks. After the parties the Pixar characters make a few more appearances during the rest of the cruise for regular photo ops as well.

It is on the Juneau night - so night 5.

Yes, Pixar Dance Party, held twice on Juneau Day, Friday.

We saw people dressed as Pixar characters for dinner.

Just got off the Wonder on Monday. Pixar night is Juneau day, which is also semi formal evening at 4pm, and the other at 10pm. A lot of people dress up, I had DD on Jessie, and DS on Mike wasawski.

If you go to the DCL web site and look at your cruise activities, the Pixar Pals Party shows up as a Ship Activity. My wife and I are going on the 7/14 cruise this summer, and day 5

I know this is an old thread, but didn't want to start a new one - does anyone know if you can get the professional pictures with the characters during the party? Or just your own?
