O.K. maybe the title of this thread is a little exaggerated, but I really think the parade would have been easier to watch without them constantly squirting water in our faces. The baby really really didn't appreciate it. :sad1:

I still love Disneyland and am ready to go back any time. :dance3:

We really enjoyed the Pixar Parade. We watched it 4 times last week, but yep, I could live without water being shot at me also. My younger kids really liked the water and bubbles though.

Oh no! LOL When we were there in June it was bubbles. I guess it wasn't hot enough for water. I think I appreciate those bubbles now. I don't think I would have liked getting drowned in water. LOL

Sweet!!! Did ya get to keep em?

Yeah! I have one still! It's red and one side it has the Nerf logo and the other says "Block Party Bash Disney/Pixar"....

I loved that parade. It made me want to dance! :dancer:

We got a ball too. :) Still have it. We watched the PPP from further back. On the other side of the boat play yard so didn't get squirted at all. We were passing by and I insisted to DH and two teen DS's that we stop and watch. :)

Do I understand right that during cold months like December when we will be there they will have bubbles instead of water?

We were there last Tuesday September 30th... It was a HOT day in So. CA. The water was a refreshing break and well appreciated however I can understand that many would not appreciate it. There were times that we got really wet.. though it dried a few minutes later we did get wet! Also be careful of cameras so they don't get soaked too.. The parade is really cute. We usually don't stay for parades - we take advantage of riding the rides while others are watching the parade - but I am glad we stayed for this one....

I was surprised at how wet we got a few weeks ago too. You do need to stand pretty far back to miss the water. They did water and bubbles a few weeks ago. I believe I did read somewhere about them turning the water off in the colder months. Not sure if that is true, though. Our stroller got soaked and took a while to dry because the sun has been going down around 6 now...

I actually enjoyed the water. I loved the bubbles as well. I did worry about the camera though ;)

I've viewed the parade when it was overcast (rainy weather) and the water effects were not done. Yay for bubbles though!

Let's hope for a dry Pixar Parade during the colder months.

We LOVED the parade. We got a lot less wet when we watched from the end of the route (down by the side of the pier near MM) then when we watched at the front of the parade route near sunshine plaza.

DD and I loved the parade. She especially loved the fact that I got a lot more wet the she did. The little traitor would hide behind me!! LOL!!

Both times we have see it they used water and bubbles.
