Yay! We love Pixar (as my screen name suggests!) First, the meet and greets at DHS are wonderful. It's not like a hit-or-miss thing - they are in their own themed areas at definite times, and we've never experienced long waits for them. You can check this website before your trip to get a good idea of the times:

Monsters, Incredibles, Cars and Buzz/Woody have their own spots at DHS, but Green Army Men were out and about last month in front of Toy Story Mania. Speaking of TSM, our strategy was to arrive at DHS at rope drop, go as fast as possible to TSM and get in the standby line and ride. On the way out, we grabbed FPs for our pre-schooler and one adult (our older boys save their FPs for ToT and RnR.)
We are thrilled about Lotso appearing at DHS starting in May. Our pre-schooler has been following all the new TS3 characters and loves "Huggy Bear," as he calls him.
The Block Party Bash at DHS is usually at 3pm - it's a fun parade/show and our pre-schooler absolutely loves it! Toy Story, Bugs Life, Monsters, Inc. and Incredibles - but no Wall-E or Up! - sorry!
At MK, we've seen Woody and Jessie near Splash Mountain, but it was a random appearance. Buzz Lightyear sometimes appears near the Buzz Lightyear ride. We've always had a very easy time getting on Buzz Lightyear at rope drop, and then FPs continue to be available throughout the day.
Unfortunately, as the previous poster said, the UP! characters are leaving. And Wall-E is very absent.
Great to hear from a fellow pixar mom - have a great trip, and let us know if you have more questions!!!
ETA: There must be more of us out there! Our youngest looks at the TS3 website everyday. He can tell you it's "in theaters June 18." He knows all the new characters. He routinely talks about TSM. We even have to watch the 360 view of each of the characters on the Toy Story website - and then he turns around with the same pose as each character! Anyone else?? Maybe not.
