PIT Airport - bad checked baggage news

Looks like we'll be dragging our luggage around for at least another year:

The part I hate is you can't curbside check and then park the car.

Thanks for the heads up Debbie. When we flew to San Antonio from Pittsburgh in June(on Continental for FF miles) it took us 40 minutes to have our luggage screened for explosives, and there were only 8-10 people in front of us.

Hopefully when we fly US AIR in Feb to Orlando, they(TSA) will have there act together by then.We always print our boarding passes at home to save time at the aiport, this kind of hold up would defeat the purpose.

We were bringing our niece back to San Antonio and she was up in Ohio for 3 weeks, so she had 2 large suitcases. So I figured if we had to wait for her luggage at San Antonio airport......we might as well check ours . That was the 1st time I checked luggage in 3-4 years...........and probably the last.

Debbie, thanks for posting that. I saw that in the paper yesterday. I miss curbside at PIT. It is a pain to have to lug your suitcase around the terminal. Guess I will ship my equipment ahead so I don't have to deal with it at the airport.
