Something important to keep in mind is that capture the flag is for girls. Sometimes you will see guys in there playing but it's either because some girl asked them to play or they are otherwise wussified. I make no assumptions about the guys I see playing flag other than they would probably rather be playing battle.

Girls get angry when you sink all the enemy boats in a game of flag. I'm still not entirely sure why it upsets them so much but then I don't really understand girls in general.

I know a little bit about girl's minds work. You think that you've captured the cutest little scarf and you can't wait to get it home to find the perfect outfit to accessorize. But then some big mean boy who can't restain his natural born killer instincts single-handedly takes out the entire other team robbing you of your fashion moment. Grrr, Rawr and all that.

I would estimate that was about... 8 hours of:

"It's your turn to shoot me"
"No, I shot you last time"
"Oh yea! - giggles -"

There is soooo much good info here!
I feel better knowing that nearly everyone has at one point had a difficult time learning this game. I'll try to remember that the next time I am not in a friendly game (or even then).
Shoot, I think I'll print out some tips and tape them near the computer where I can see them and try not to read them while in a game.

Eeyorespal I think we have played a friendly game. In the future I'll remember your tip.

Krazypete had me laughing because there have been games everyone typed things like
"who wins now?"
"who has the flag?"
"don't shoot the flag!"
