Day 2: June 12th

We were both up at 7:30am (Heather needed some coaxing, she's definitely not a morning person!) and down for breakfast at 8:00 which was excellent, loads of choice and delicious. We wandered the Sequoia Lodge grounds and Disney Village a bit as the parks didn't open til 10am. We decided to go to Disneyland Park again that day and once it opened we headed straight to Frontierland (using the sneaky shortcut from Main Street!) and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. I think we queued about 15-20 minutes, might have been less if they hadn't suddenly decided to open the parallel queue so loads of people who arrived after us got to ride first, grr! We picked up a fastpass so we could ride again later and it was off to Pirates again, we're obsessed!
We had a bit of time before our BTMRR fastpass so we headed to Fantasyland, getting some castle pics on the way:

That dragon is just plain scary!

See, Heather agrees!

We decided to go on the teacups next:

Caught these two snacking! That food stand suddenly became incredibly popular, hehe.

By now it was time to use our BTMRR fastpass so we wandered back over to use that and afterwards decided to try Buzz Lightyear's Pizza Planet for lunch as we'd never eaten there before. We shared a margherita pizza and had a portion of fries each, bit better value than some of the other eateries we thought.
Decided to try Autopia next (think that'll be the last time, load of rubbish!) and just in the nick of time caught the next showing of the Tarzan show which was brilliant, definitely worth seeing.
Next stop was Disney Studios for Rock n' Roller Coaster, Cinemagique (am I the only one who's such a sap that the sad bits make me tear up? Yep thought so..!) and the Magic of Animation thingy where me and Heather drew Donald Duck between us:

By then it was nearly time for the Candleabration show so we watched that (not bad, seemed a bit cobbled together in a rush though and would probably have looked better in the dark) then headed back to Disney Village as wanted to try Panaromique before the evening crowds descended.

Yep, that's the one!

Saw these mad blokes on the way over. Bees. On Stilts. Playing instruments. Hmm..!

Panoramique was really good, very gairy being so high up and the way they land it means you have to swing from side to side at one point but a great experience nonetheless.

Lookie, our hotel

Dinner was at Annette's again (my sister's pickiness means most places are out, not worth spending loads on stuff she won't eat) Heather had her usual plain cheeseburger and a tasty looking Ben and Jerry's sundae (I wasn't in the mood for dessert that night but when that arrived I almost had a change of heart!) and I had a Greenpeace burger. As a veggie burger connoiseur (my bf is vegetarian so i've tried loads of different ones both prepared and homemade) i'd say it wasn't bad, fell apart a bit too easily though.

Purchases today: Pirate Mickey mug, Stitch hoodie, 5 pins, Chip & Dale bowl.

Another great day with lovely photos:thumbsup2
