....The singing donkey is back! Yes, Giselle. It's true, it's true. It seemed like there were a few less fireflies in the bayou, but they brought back El Terco ( I just named him that) to balance it. He was gone two weeks ago, and my wife didn't remember seeing him on Monday. Buy by Wednesday, he was braying along with the three pirates and Beowoof the dog (just named her, too).

Viva El Terco!

Donkey was back when I was there 2 weekends ago. So glad to see him back, its my favorite character in the attraction

Hands down this is one of our fave rides of all time. Our last visit in 2013 our youngest was 20 months old - she LOVED pirates. We rode it 8 times over the course of 3 days. At the end each time she would scream "more ride!!" at the top of her lungs. It was awesome!!! This is definitely a family fave for us, dating back to my first time riding it in 1987. I'm hoping that my youngest will still love it at much at 4 (nearly 5) as she did at 20 months when we go in October :)

... but last week there was no cat in the little side scene with the pirate chanting "here kitty kitty." Pirate hallucinations, maybe?

What?! I'm sure he was there two weeks ago!

There is an earlier thread about his return.

POTC is one of my favorite DL rides ever. People of all ages can enjoy it. Disabled guests can enjoy it. Babies and grandparents can enjoy it.

On our recent visit earlier in June, we went on it 3 times in one day!

The last couple chasing each other was not there last week, but the singing donkey was.

He was there on the weekend when we were there. Hidden in the shadows, but definitely there!! :)
