Pirates rehab? Anyone know when?

I read here http://www.jimhillmedia.com/mb/articles/showarticle.php?ID=1261 that the pirates ride will be going down for rehab in order to add Jack Sparrow's character. Does anyone have some concrete info as to when this will happen? If it happens during our next trip, I'd like to know so that I can prepare my family beforehand. Thanks so much.

Doesn't Disney post its closings and rehabs on its official site. The dates are usually there well in advance.

As of now Disney is not showing it on there rehab list through May, although June is not out yet. I would have a very sad 5 yr old DD if it closes before we make it in June. I wouldn't think they would close it down this summer with there 50th celebration...would they?

No, I don't think they would do that either. But a post from a person claiming to be a CM said the rumor around the park was that it would close "some time this summer" for a rehab. I just hope they decide to leave it open through at least October 9th so I could ride it at least once during my trip!

I have read a couple of different dates. One was having it close right after summer. The other date was that it might close early next year.
