Pirates Refurb Question

We've just booked today to go in October this year but when we booked we was told that Pirates of the Caribbean will be closed during our visit .

I've just checked the closures section of the website but it only says it is closed until Summer 17.

Has anyone heard of when it will be open again as it's a family tradition to make this our first ride & will be the first time we've been when it's not been open

It's advertised as opening in the summer. Did you book through an agent or direct with Disney? Hopefully they just had the wrong information.

We booked through a travel agent via 'Magic Breaks', using the summer offer of 2 nights & 2 days free, so hopefully they are just using a script (as it's the summer offer) as everywhere we've looked only states closed until summer 2017 (fingers crossed)

"Summer 2017" is very vague but you would hope that this would not mean any time up to October. You will just need to keep an eye on the DLP website, hope its open for you.

When I was talking to a CM on the phone about the Run Disney event she said they hope Pirates will be open by then 21st Sept, so I don't think they have an end date currently
