We went to it on the 3/6 Magic. It was on Thursday night at 7:45 in Studio Sea. There was a dj who played dance tunes and a CM who directed the dancing. They encourage the kids to dress in princess or pirate wear but there were a lot of kids who didn't. At certain points in the evening (it lasted about 30-45 minutes), the CM would have the kids dance in a circle and "special guests" arrived at the party to dance with the kids. At ours it was Cinderella and Captain Hook with Mr. Smee. The kids had a great time and I even got to take a turn around the dance floor with Mr. Smee.
My kids were a bit confused becuase they wanted to dance with Captain Hook like they had with the others, but he was so tall, he couldn't hold their hands.
My kids (and DH and I) had a great time. We had early seating and were able to attend after dinner. Hope your little pirates and princesses get a chance to fo.
