My wife and I (late 20's-early 30's)... ok, well more me, have interest in booking a Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage for our upcoming trip. We love WDW, enjoy acting like an 8 year old more than some 8 year olds, don't shy away from things like character meals even though it's just us, you get the idea. :goodvibes

Is there any reason for us NOT to book this when our window opens?

TIA! :thumbsup2

Unless you have a budget issues, I don't see why not. Me (39) and my parents (65+) did it on our last trip and had a total blast! I think our pirate guide had a little bit of extra fun joking around with grown-ups, too.

Have fun!

Gosh I always wondered about this too! We love character meals, and I would love to do this cruise, but we are both adults in our 30s with no kids and we're fearful it would look stupid if we went LOL!

I like the way you both think! :thumbsup2

We always try to add in a fun new thing or 2 to do on our trips. We've done a bunch of the tours and special dinner type things and have done MNSSHP a couple of times. I thought this would be right up our ally (we are not really interested in renting out a fireworks cruise for just the 2 of us).

Adult groups are perfectly welcome. You don't feel left out at all. My mom and I went at the end of September. I will say, we did not have a good time. The cruise part with the captain was really good. Our captain was great. However, it was a bit of a cluster before that. They e-mailed to check in at 8pm, but they had us stand in the hallway for 45 minutes afterwards before they allowed us in to eat. Once they opened the doors we only got 30 minutes to eat and stand in line for pictures with about 80 other people, so we had to switch off with going to grab stuff then stuffing it in while waiting in line for pictures.

Just did this last week with our kids and grand kids and really enjoyed it. There was a couple on our boat without kids who were celebrating their 45th anniversary. I say go ahead and hope you have a great time.

Agree with NoMoneyThanks2Disney above, no reason to get there too early. I think they opened the room with the food and Hook and Smee about 8:45.

There are so many kids running around in the big room no one will even notice you don't have any. Once on the boat again no one would notice. It really doesn't matter, go and have a great time - Disney is for everyone.

Thanks for asking, OP. Might consider this for our trip too, as we're in a similar boat to you! :)

My DH and I did this during one of our trips (2010, maybe), so we would have been 36 & 41 with no kids. We had a blast! And, we learned Seven Seas Lagoon is THE place from which to see fireworks!! Enjoy the event, matey. pirate:
