Planning my August 2016 trip and thinking about a voyage. I'm an adult traveling solo, never booked anything like this before. I saw it on the website and was intrigued, I love fireworks, boats, and pirates, so it seems like a great fit! Thoughts?

Definitely a lot of fun for adults. Hook and Smee are a fun meet and greet. All of the snack type foods and Mickey ice cream bars you can eat (so I suggest not eating for a while before..plus you can stock up and take however much you want after). The view of the fireworks was awesome. I did have my 2 year old with me but I would come back solo (or with other adults) in a heartbeat. We are planning on doing it again in September.

I bought my parents tickets for the P&P fireworks cruise and they loved it. My mom said it was the best view of wishes she ever had.

Although overall it is geared towards kids, so is almost everything Disney. It is very entertaining for all ages & the view of the fireworks is very pretty. The night is filled with a lot of singing & G rated comedy. Very fun!

We took our kids on this in 2013, but I wouldn't think twice about doing it alone or with just my wife and I. It's a ton of fun and a great view of the fireworks. Go for it!

Oh man. My wife and I booked this with the thought a Pirate Voyage would be chock-full of "Arrr"-rated comedy.
That it will be, not to worry! If I remember correctly I think one of the pirates even makes a joke about just that. :)

I think it would be fun for adults. The snacks, character meet and greets, and fireworks are all enjoyable.
Just know that you could get picked on a little. We had a family on our boat that was the mom, 12 year old daughter, and grandma. Somehow it came up that the grandma was not married, so the guy kept making jokes and had the grandma get up and dance with him. The 12 year old seemed mortified, but it was funny and all in good fun.

I say GO FOR IT!!! I just booked this for my family trip May, our ages are 54, 53, 25 and 23. We love pirates too!

We definitely had as much fun as our kids did. Plus it's the best view you'll ever get of Wishes and they pipe the music in for it.

A different P&P question: Is there an AP discount? (I'm having trouble accessing the AP benefits/discounts page online.)
