Has anyone done this? I booked it for our trip in April. The information stated that you are ushed to a pirate themed room for snacks before the cruise...is that how it works or are the snacks given while on the cruise?

Any input on the cruise itself?:confused3

Thanks Everyone!:worship:

We did it in August, and my parents will be doing it with our son next week.

Snacks are served in a room before hand. There was also an appearance by Captain Hook and Mr. Smee before you get on the boat, and a chance for photos/autographs, as well as some great character interaction. After snacks, you get led down to the marina by Smee and Hook, go on the cruise, hear some stories, answer some questions and win some prizes, watch the fireworks, come back to a surprise! :-)

Now, it may have changed, and I can tell you more after they go on it next week, but that was our experience in August.

It was fun though! Our then 2 year slept nearly the entire cruise, including the fireworks, but DH and I had fun! :rotfl:

can you give me link to info, this may be something I would like to surprise my fam, with. Thanks

I called and booked this and the BBB at the 180 day mark (I did my ADR's online) and had to prepay for it. For me and my 2 children it was $120.

Have fun!

Thanks for the information!! I called them this morning and it's $181 for a family of 4 (2 adults, both kids under 10). I didn't book it, need to run it by the husband first.

I forgot to ask them what time it starts at though. Do you know?

Thanks Everyone!

I did find a thread here on the dis under Theme Parks/Attractions that gave a detailed review.

I have also made reservations for me, my mother and my dd8.

Can we say ARRRRGGGGGHHHHH MATEY (in our most Piratey voices!!!)!?!?!?pirate:

I'm at work right now so don't have my planning notebook- but my instinct is to say 8:30. I remember the CM told me to look in the CR lobby to see where to meet. I believe that the start time varies- depending on what time the fireworks start. Because I'm going in the summer, and there will be a dif fireworks than Wishes- I will make sure to check with the CR when I get there as to times (we are staying there so it's easy).

It begins at 8:45pm but the CM told me we should arrive 15 minutes early.

That time was for our trip in April...it may vary depending on the time of year you go and the Wishes schedule.

Thank you for your help guys. I believe since we have a fam of 5 ,and a group of 10. We will have to sit this one out. $$$$$$ for me.

With a group of 10, you DO qualify as a Grand Gathering. You should look into some of those things as well (if you haven't already!:thumbsup2

DisneyDad78...you can always surprise your family by taking them to see the FREE movie on the beach at GF/POLY or Beach Club...if they are not aware of that one! You can toast smores (bring your own or purchase a kit there) and watch a disney movie...lots of fun!
