Pirates Open for Grad Night?

My daughter is in WDW right now for Grad Night. Does anyone know if the Pirates is open? I had read months ago that it would be closed for refurbishing...is it open?

It was opened during the Easter season during April. It was open last week, we rode it, but it closed again on Sunday 4/30 for the second stage of refurbishing. It will be closed until sometime in July.

I heard that it was reopening in July to coincide with the opening of the POC movie. Supposedly they added Captain Jack Sparrow. DD and I would be thrilled if Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom were there for the opening!

It is closed and drained right now with no boats in the building. They have all of the boats out for sand blasting and repainting. We won't see the pirates again until early July.
