Pirates of the carribean closed

Hi y'all

I was at Dland Sunday for a few hrs bc my 3yr old was dying to go on pirates so we drove down to the park for a few hours (we are pass holders) we got there and walked all the way to pirates and it was closed! They said it's closed till January I felt so bad bc she had been asking me for two weeks!

So a heads up for everyone for other fans of the ride

According to touringplans.com, the refurb is 9/7 - 11/23. Don't know of anything after that. You may want to post this in the Disneyland forum though. Sorry you missed out on it.

I also read somewhere that it will be open in November. I cannot imagine that it would be down through Christmas. That is why they do refurbs now, so it will be running for the Christmas season.

We were there in September and it was down then, but I remember thinking that I read it would be back up for the holidays We are going back to DLR over the Christmas week and we will be able to do one of our favorite attractions then! Yo Ho!

It has been closed since the beginning of Sept. It is due to reopen on Thanksgiving Day.

This is why even passholder should take a look at the disney calendar before you head to the parks. As Mal said it's been closed since labor day and is set to reopen turkey day.

On the Disneyland website under park hours. You pick your date and it will tell you what is closed.

disneyland.com has ride closures , show times etc, well worth looking at before you head out.
