The person in charge decides they can do it randomly, or they can pick people that they know have never done it before- to give everybody a try, or they can pick somebody who they know would be on often.

When I was PM I picked people who I knew would be online often, so it wouldn't take 10 years between each murder

I remember originally choosing Mickey Mouse and Tinkerbell as murderers in the second game I made, but I accidently sent the detective PM to Tinkerbell instead of Jasmine, so Jasmine ended up being the murderer instead of Tinkerbell...

YAY

No, the Park Manager (the person running the MM) chooses. It can be any number of murderers. The Park Manager also picks a certain number of detectives than, there is the reporter, who is the only one of those that announces his or herself as a reporter. If you are a murderer or detective, you keep it secret. I may not be the best to explain this, but usually they have all the rules posted on the sign-up thread.

Option #1 Girl sent to live with her young aunt in some other state after both her parents die in some type of accident. She meets an artistic guy and somehow fall in love and whatever

Option #2 Girl is sent to live with her mother's friend (i'll figure out how they know each other later) and the mother's friend's nephew is also staying with her. Her nephew is come famous musician.

Yeah... I'm not sure which one. I'm not sure if I'd actually read either one. xD
