When we went in 1993 we never thought we would be able to go again, and although it took us nine years we did go again in the end. Hopefully it will be the same for you (though less than nine years preferably )

They're now selling POTC figurines at WDW. We almost went for the redhead, but we ended up buying the buccaneer (complete with the blonde popping up from the barrel).

They also have movie merchandise. There was a fantastic Jack Sparrow doll - I would guess 18 - 24" tall - in the Villains shop at MGM.

They must be doing a bit of modernisation if it is shut for 4 months.

Looks like it's aiming to re-open on 7th July which is almost exactly the first day we'll be visiting Disney.
