Hey there-
How is everyone?

My aunt and I just got our tickets to Anaheim for Disneyland for the premiere of the third Pirates movie. We are very anxious and excited! We've been searching high and low for advice, information, and previous experience stories. So far, not much luck - most of the info we've found wasn't clear.

I was wondering if anyone here is able to please kindly share with us anything they can. Regarding - waiting time, guidelines, WHERE the line forms (very important), advice, and things such as that. And of course anything else you are able to provide us.

Thank you all in advance.
We both appreciate it greatly.
:)

Never been to one of the premiers but here is some info from what I have read.

People will be lining up to get into the park REALLY early. Probably around 5 AM. Once in DL you need to stake out a spot on Main Street and Don't move. Since there are 2 of you one can stay put while the other moves around and explores. The area around the premier will be shut down and you won't be able to do the attractions in this spot.

Once the stars arrive you will be alowed to see them on the red carpet (Main Street) but won't be able to go anywhere else in the park.

Hey Mariyyya3
I was wondering how you got the tickets to the premiere?
did you just buy tickets to disneyland on May 19th and then will be available for the premiere?
Please explain how you got the tickets and when the premiere is scheduled to happen.
all details appreciated thanks!

:yay:

I'll be there too. Not sure how to get tickets to actually view the movie. But anyone with a park ticket can get in that day and line the red carpet. Plan to get there early (the park opens at 6:30am) and camp out on Main Street all day. They will close the park at 5pm. They will not kick anyone out, but just won't let any new people in. The rides will be shut down then too.

Is the premiere on May 19th?
That is the day that i was told would be the day...
has it been announced publically yet?

Gototravel please let me know, thanks!

nothing official from Disney that this is the day, but they never announced the last ones either....but several Johnny Depp fan sites are saying it is...the Orlando Bloom sites are saying so too...it seems that Marty Klebba, the little person pirate, is doing an autograph signing at a nearby pirate store on May 20...the timing fits in perfect...there are no other days in May that DL has odd hours (DL opening and closing way early with CA staying open way late)...we'll know for sure in a few weeks when the bleachers start going up at the Rivers of America.

Anyone can go to the park the day of the premire. But there is no way that you will get to see the moive at the park, unless you know people..
