Just checking - do we know for sure if Pirate's Night will happen on the alaska sailings this summer? I just got a coupon from some online costume warehouse and I was going to take advantage of the sale to get my daughter a new pirate costume since she outgrew her last one.

thanks!

No, we don't know for sure. But, DCL didn't do Pirate night last season (and I think also the season before). They can't shoot fireworks in Alaska, and there are noise ordinances that preclude loud deck parties. And, often, it's too cold. Maybe why they went with the Frozen show for Alaska last season.

thanks for the heads up!!! one less thing to pack!

I think the indoor Pixar Party (there is one a around 4 and another late evening, around 10, I think, that takes the place of Pirate Night. The Frozen thing is an outdoor event and ours was rainy and freezing (much nicer this December in the Gulf than it was in Alaska last June).
