How long will this take, approximately? Nephew has a 9:30 appt and they said we could arrive 15 mins early. This was a last minute add-on, and the fast pass for Peter Pan from 9:45-10:45 for our group of 11 isn't too easy to modify.

Let them know when you check in that you have to leave by 10:30 for your FP time, and they'll help you be done by then. That early in the morning, they won't be behind. Check in at least 15 min early.

If you are one of the first ones in adventureland, you could be on one of the first boats of pirates, and get to pirates league by 9:15.

I am guessing these times are a.m. and MK opens at 9? Are you planning to ride something at opening? I would figure an hour for Pirates League, it does get backed up later in the day, but shouldn't be bad in the morning. It would probably be tight, but if you get right in, then you could probably high tail it over to Fantasyland as soon as you are done to meet your family.

The other option is to ride PP first thing and then head to Pirates League, and you could change FP to something else. But not sure if you were planning to head to 7DMT or something else that you didn't have a FP first. Either way, I'd be at park early, so you could be at the front of Main St. for opening.

Thanks guys! We have an 8:05 a.m. ADR for BOG and hoped to wait for SDMT directly after....we do not have FP for it. We have pre-ordered, so are hoping that saves some time. We plan on arriving early, and know there's always a chance the plan won't work for one reason or another. I am trying to move nephew's TPL reservation back a little, so we'll see. It would be nice not to run land to land, but not the worse scenario! It'd be great if there was availability for him to do it the next morning as that's our Adventureland/Liberty Square/Frontierland day. I like to split the park in half between days.

Pirate League took at least 45 minutes when we did it. There is some waiting involved.

Ours took about an hour both times. We had about a 15-minute wait. That may not be the case in the morning, though.

Take a look at easywdw. He has a recent review of BOG PPO ADR then SDMT like you are planning, including a details on timing (down to the minute).

Based on his experience, you should have no problem getting to Pirates League by 9:15, after SDMT.

Can you tell me if you had an early appointment? For us, park opens at 9 and we have a 9:30 a.m. appointment. I'm trying to compare similar situations.

Thanks. Any chance you remember approximate times and were these busy or average times of year?

We went early, at park opening. We didn't have to wait a long time to get in BUT for my youngest son the CM got really into the whole pirate thing and took a long time with his makeup. Then they give you a necklace and you have to go into this special room and that's where you become a "real" pirate, or something like that. It's not something, that you are in and out. They did not seem like they were in a rush and I remember it taking a while. It's hard to guess because I think each CM are different and it depends on how crowded it is when you are there. Good luck.

Also, we went at a slow time of year, last week of August/first week of Sept.

Is it possible to change his appt. and make it a different time? I don't think you should go and feel rushed. The CM with my youngest son really did a lot of talking about pirates and was really into the whole thing.

No other availability at this time, but we have other days in MK and I'll keep checking. I'm just trying to know what we're getting into, so we can plan accordingly-ish. :) Thanks for the tips!

Trying to decide if we should book pirate league for our kids (son-5, daughter-9). Is it worth the time/expense for the kids?
