Pirates League - worth it?

I see they are offering 50% off during our stay for the Pirates League. I had thought about doing this for DD4.5 (she likes Jack Sparrow more than she likes the princesses!). Does anyone have any photos or thoughts about it?

We just did Pirates League last week and paid full price... So 50% off, yes worth it. My DD4 loved it although it was too hot (near 90) to wear the full costume when we were done. Mom and Dad did it too. and we went to the halloween party. It's more fun if everyone does it. They don't sell adult costumes, other than a shirt, but you can easily make a casual adult pirate outfit -- capris and blousy shirt for women, men - knickers or cut offs and a pirate t-shirt (sold there at pirates league). There's a whole thread on this... look on the theme park forum.

Our boys did it in August (dd didn't want to) it was so worth it! As parents we loved it and the kids had a ball. I would pay even pay full price again. It was great!

When you first get to theDIS home page, there is a box at the top of the forums listings that has newsy type things. It should be the top one on that list. If you can't find it, let me know again and I'll try to be more specific. I have no idea how to insert a link for you! Sorry!

I'm so glad to read that Mom & Dad did it, too. Which package did you choose for the adults? Do you have any photos you could share. Since we won't be there during Halloween, I'm not sure we need a full costume and think the $49.99 packages might be enough.

What about DSalmost2....if we bring him along will they include him in some way or will he not even be allowed in?

How long does the process take? I need to find a time to fit it in our schedule!
