Pirates League Question

My son will be 3 the last day of our vacation so we aren't buying him his own park ticket but I want to surprise him with the pirates league on his 3 rd birthday and the woman from dining reservations who I spoke with said that would be fine the only stipulation for a reservation is 3 years of age but I'm worried that he will need his own ticket to get in. Has anyone done the pirates league lately, do they check a ticket?

Im sorry, I haven't done Pirates League "lately." Our last trip was in 2010. My brother was obviously much older than 3, (he was 8 at the time) but I do not recall that they checked a ticket for him. We just checked in at the podium with his name and they went right back.

Good luck OP! Maybe you can find a number for the Pirates League and check with them directly?

we did PL last year- they don't check anything (tickets, etc) so just go for it and have fun! My twins were just under 4yo and loved it (and my 6yo really loved it!)

No need to have a ticket at the podium when you check in. I hope he loves it. My kids thought it was awesome.

We are getting ready to do it for the second time on this upcoming trip and I'm curious: Are the pictures they take in the secret room now part of the MM+ or do you still purchase seperately.
