Can anyone give me information on the pirate cruise? Is this through Disney or offsite?

Hi! The Pirate Cruises are run by Disney. There are actually three available now. I have our two oldest signed up for the one that leaves from the GF. I don't have the days/locations right now, but I'm sure they are available on the WDW site, if you do a search. They all run from 9:30-11:30, and cost $30 per child. It's for ages 4-10. The kids go on a hunt for a buried treasure, and I believe lunch is served. It sounds really neat!

Do you know if they have any other name I have tried doing a search on the Disney website and it just brings up the POTC ride?!!!

We just did it on MAy 15th. My daughters are 4 and 6 and i was worried at first, but there were about 15 kids and three women that went all together. They really keep the kids in shape. They each have a buddy. They wear life vests and we did have to sign a waiver, they gave us a receipt and a pager. It is held on Mondays and i think Thursday's from 9:30-11:30.
You have to be there for 9:15. I think it cost about $30.00 a child. To pick up the kids you need the pager and the recipt. I left everythign at the pool and when i went to pick up the kids they wouldn't let me without a receipt. So they are very safe about that. They stopped at three places and each received the same amount of treasures. They had a lunch which consisted of fruit snack, rice Krispies treat and uncrustables. It was really neat and they pulled up to the dock singing. They had so much fun. I wouldn't worry too much.

Another pirate cruise for kids debuts. Booked 3/3/06
Following the success of the Pirate Cruise for kids a the Grand Floridian Resort and Albatross Treasure Cruise at the Yacht Club Resort, and building on the legend of the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction and movie, the Caribbean Beach Resort will debut the Islands of the Caribbean Adventure Cruise this Tuesday.
As with the other cruises, it is for kids ages 4-10, who must be potty-trained with no pull-ups. Up to 12 young pirates will receive bandannas and follow clues to find treasure, which will be divided up between the lucky crew members. Lunch, in the form of Smuckers Uncrustables sandwiches, juice and snacks, will be served.
The cruise will sail from the Barefoot Bay Boat Yard every Tuesday and will run from 9:30-11:30. It may not yet be available in the main reservation system at the WDW-DINE and WDW-PLAY numbers, so if you can't make a reservation that way, you can call the Barefoot Bay Boat Yard Marina directly at 407-934-2850. The cruise will cost $28.17 plus tax per child ($30.00 including tax).
