What is "Pirates and Princesses"?

I think that is the rumored adult halloween party at MGM. I don't believe it is more than a rumor at this point in time???

I heard that rumor. Here's the info of it I found on another site:

There are plans underway to introduce a new "Pirates and Princesses" hard ticket event at the Magic Kingdom. Based on a similar concept to "Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party" and "Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party", the new event would take place after regular parks hours, and would require a separate ticket for entry. As part of the evening events would be a Pirates and Princesses parade. Whilst this concept is strongly tipped to come to reality around January 2007, please remember that this information is not officially confirmed, and as always is subject to change.

I think it sounds like it could be cool. It'll be interesting to see if this actually happens.

Yeah, that's exactly what I read. I'm thinking it's another event to fill in when there's not a holiday event going on. I think it would obviously feature the princesses for girls and pirates for boys. I'm thinking they'd probably have a parade and stations around the park for kids to do stuff. I don't know if it would only run during certain months or what, but sounds interesting. Who knows if it will really happen or not.

What site was that info on?

I wonder if the Princess/Pirates thing is getting confused?? With the new Bibbidi Bobbiti Boutique opening at DTD for Girls (Princess version of Libby Lou) and that their is a Pirate section now near it for the boys, I think they will make pirate hats, swords etc, could be that information has gotten stretched a bit..BUt a Princess/Pirate night sounds good to me!

It was on wdwmagic. I think this is something completely separate from the new boutiques in DTD. Of course, if those are wildy successful, I would think it would make an event like this look good.

I just read about this too, on another website.

Sounds cool. I hope they try it out next year.
