We are heading to Disney Nov 21-28 and we have 3 DS: they will be 8,6,2 when we go. I am considering doing the Pirates and Pal cruise the night we arrive so we can see Holiday Wishes (my favorite). I know the fireworks are late, just curious if anyone has ever done it with a 2 year old or did they fall asleep along the way? I know my older two would love it.

I was told by my TA after she called Disney that children must be 3 and potty trained to go on the Pirates and Pals cruise, so you might want to double check. I was really bummed :(

I am going on pirate and pals on Monday night with my sons. My older son is 7 and my younger son is only 8 months and when I called to book it the cm never said anything about kids having to be potty trained.

I wonder if your TA inquired about a "Pirate Cruise" and was given info about the daytime cruises. Those are kid only so potty trained is a reasonable requirement. The P&Pals cruise is bookable by anyone - I doubt potty trained is a requirement.

Would I call Disney to ask this question?

I took my DS on the pirates cruise December 2013 and he was 3 at the time. He loved every minute and was awake for holiday wishes fireworks. They play pirate music while everyone eats cake, ice cream, popcorn etc and most children are dancing or waiting to meet Captain Hook . The boats do not have a restroom, but our pirates stopped at the dock before we loaded and made sure all little pirates new where the bathroom was. Oh and I saw a couple of very small children who most likely were still in diapers on our boat.

I'm hoping you can book it and that under 3 is free! :goodvibes

You do have to pay for it upfront. (Just in case you didn't know)

We took our two year old DD last May. She loved it! And she stayed awake for the whole show. We were staying at BLT which made it easy for transportation, but since she was free it was even better!

StirlingSilver83 would you be so kind as to share your experience from last Monday night? I've read a detailed report that's a bit older and wondering if anything has changed. We are considering booking this for our trip in June if it's still available.

TIA!!! :goodvibes
