Pirates...after the credits

Did anyone sit through the whole credits and see the little clip? I don't know when or how but my guess is that there are "more" to come

YUP, my DH thought I was nutty, he really didn't think there would be anything this time after the credits. .. glad we stayed . . . I think it is left that if they decide to do another one they can. . .

We stayed! Felt a little dumb doing it, but glad that we did.
I KNEW that there was going to be something like that at the end! Wnech's intuition, or something like that!
The ending did leave the door open a bit for yet another movie - have to wait and see!

We havent seen the other Pirate movies on the big screen since our kids always seem to be born around the release of a pirate movie... go figure. So this time (no new babies in tow!) we took our kids to see 3, and didnt know to stay!! DARN! But, I got the scoop from these boards, and I think there will be more Pirates on our horizon!

The movie ended so late that I did not stick around (I did here about the clip after the credits). Funny, I was thinking that the next sequel could start with Elizabeth in child birth and passing away during the process. This would exit her from the pirate movies (which she has stated that she is not willing to do more) and leave the child in the care of Captain Jack! Now wouldn't that be interesting!!!!

Yep, my mom called me ahead of time to told me to keep my seat (she's on eastern time, so saw the movie sooner)
But the theater was crowded, so my group wasn't sitting together...and my friends called me five minutes into the credits to see where I was!

DH MAKES us stay for every movie's credits.We all know we have to wait.He says we are paying for them so we are going to watch them.You never know when they will throw something in.

We went 2 nights ago. Someone had told me to stay for the credits, and my family thought I was crazy. They soooo wanted to give up and leave (those credits are LONG LONG LONG LONG...), but I was NOT going to budge!

At the end, there was only us, a couple, and another family, left in the theatre! But it was worth the wait... Wouldn't want to miss the last part of the movie... ;-)

It was strange watching it here in Sydney, and knowing that we were in our room at the Paradise Pier at Disneyland last week and could see the top left corner of the premiere screen from our window...

After Pirates 1 had a post-credits scene, I figured it would be worth my while to stay.

That scene didn't make me feel there would be more so much as the pre-credits end... Although perhaps since Elizabeth looked the same 10 years later, maybe she partakes in Sparrow's new quest.

You also must figure that Elizabeth and Will have had conversation to figure out their meeting place in 10 years, no?

Agreed; you don't need Elizabeth for another round -- after all, it would be understood that she would have other priorities while Will, Jack, and Barbossa are busy betraying one another. However, even though the romance wasn't the best developed part of the trilogy, I would like to see some steam somewhere, so a new female antagonist for Jack would be appropriate.

If there is another, it would probably serve best to give it a little break.
