Pirate Tutorial a MUST see!

We heard this from a cast member working a register at the gift shop as you exit Pirates of the Caribbean. I am not sure how valid it may be. Perhaps she thought of what was coming up in 2007. She was a bit busy when I asked her. From what I have heard before CMs are not always exact with info they share. We did not see the meet and greet Jack ourselves. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused.

I just know how rabid Jack's fans can be. Not that I know anything of that personally.

If anyone is headed to the Magic Kiingdom you must catch the Jack Sparrow Pirate Tutorial in Adventureland. I believe it runs once an hour between 11 .m. and 4 p.m. Not only does the actor look just like Jack Sparrow, the actors are very good at ad libs. During our show a young boy really got into his role of attacking the pirates. He began hitting Jack Sparrow and his assistant in the legs with the plastic sword until he had to be disarmed. After that, he continued to lunge at them and grab their legs. Jack Sparrow had to pick him up and return him to his family. It was hyterical the way that they handled it. Do not miss this show!!

Where are the times posted? Did you just happen upon it while in Adventure land?

We saw the same duo as in the photo, they were great when we saw them, there were quite a few "hyper" or happy kids. One almost got Mack "below the belt" as he put it .. they disarmed him and said nevermind lol .. handled it well
They were great, and it's normally something I would have passed up.

I'm so upset we didn't get to see the Pirate Tutorial during our Halloween trip! It's going to be first on the list of things to do when we go back to WDW in December! Thanks for the pictures!

It's sorta creepy to me how much they can make these guys look like Johnny Depp!

I got my pic with the one on the Wonder and MAN. It was creepy.

Where are the times posted? Did you just happen upon it while in Adventure land?

The Tipboard lists the times. I believe they are: 10:15, 11:20, 12:25, 2:15, 3:20, and 4:25. Something like that.

Those poor CM's. It reminds me of the year 1994 when we went and one of my DS's, then 8, saw a "Crash Dummy" CM after going on Test Track and punched him (who knows why ) thinking he was fake. I saw it happen, but it happened so fast that I couldn't stop it. My DS still feels bad about it if we mention it (he's 17 now and never has been aggressive and that was so unlike him). Unfortunately, at DS's height at the time . . . . . . it was not good, but the CM took it in stride and I was able to have them pose for a picture.

Looks like you got the much sought after Jack #2, the best Jack in the park according to many. He seems to be a great adlibber, so I'm not surprised that he handled it so well. And that Mack - he's just fantastic (he looks kinda different in that shot, but I do believe it's the same one). Those two make quite a team.

That was one was great! Sure hope you can see him. Mack is so funny!!

We got the same duo and they were great. In fact I think it was the highlight of our trip, at least in the MK.

My 2 year old had his sword and, being named Jack, is a natural pirate. But being 2, he doesn't follow directions too well. He wandered into the fray near the end and challenged Mack to a duel. It was the funniest thing ever - Mack is taking on a two year old while my wife yells "jack-jack!!" "jack-jack!! come back here!!"

Mack was cracking jokes while Jack Sparrow whas looking at my wife saying "who, me?" Classic!!
