Pirate themed bulletin board

Well, I was asked to be in charge of our PTO bulletin board this year and I am really excited!! Our school mascot is the buckaneers and I am thinking about a welcome back to school that says "Arrr you ready for a great year?" with a boy and girl pirate, a treasure chest, ship etc. This board also has to incorporate the PTO forms (back ground check forms ect.) I am at a loss for how to incorporate these forms. Any suggestions? I thought about dividing the board into two sections but not sure. What would you do? TIA

Do you need to post just a copy of the forms , so they can be read on the bb, or a quantity of them for people to take? How many are there?

how big is the board & how many papers do you have to have??

could you put a paper holder for the papers??

What if you had it say something like "Come on Mateys! Join the crew...PTO wants you!" and had the forms hanging for people to grab and take. I love the title you came up with. It's going to look great!

I love the title idea! and the boy/girl pirates! very awesome! i bet the kids will love it.

if the forms have to be posted to read, you could have them be the "treasures" coming out of/next to the treasure chest. you could mount them on glitter paper or put jewel like borders on them.

edited to add.....you could use manila envelopes if they are forms for people to take. decorate each of those manila envelopes to look like the treasure chests! Just make sure the envelopes are like 9x12 or whatnot-bigger than the paper- (the school office should have some for you to use!) and you could staple that onto the board as a holder. You could also laminate it open and use a pin to slice the opening so it's extra durable. I've also stapled sheet protectors onto bulletin boards and used them as "see-through envelopes" but they don't last as long.
