Pirate Theme

Hi we will be in Disney World August 12-19 and was wondering if any of the characters are dressed as pirates. We went to the Disney Store this past weekend, and lots of stuffed animals were dressed in pirate clothing.

Can anyone tell me what pirate merchandise is available at the parks. My 7 year old son will be having a "Pirates of the Carribean" party and want to know what is being sold exclusively at the parks that we can surprise him with on his birthday.

i was wondering if they'll do a parade with Pirates in it? they seem to always do parades when a new "big" Disney movie comes out. i think it'd be awesome to have a Pirates themed parade! although, i don't know if it would be good for me. that guy dressed as Jack Sparrow would have to dodge me trying to jump on him the whole time!! hehe! *wink*

A couple of new things that I know of are Fill-a- Skull and Make-a-Pirate Hat in the gift shop at the POTC ride.Here are pictures we have on the DIS.

Baloo that is such a neat idea. I really appreciate the pictures, can't wait to get there. It seems that this is like the "Potatoe Head" that you fill up, but in this case it's a skull. Is this correct? Also, is Pirates of the Carribean store the only place where this can be purchased?
