My six year old has been after me about this.... if you look through the current DCL catalog, you'll see a picture of captain hook followed by a bunch of little kids. My son is really into pirate stuff and washooked by that picture. I did not see any "excursions" for little kids dealing with pirates. Is there a specific "pirate" activity for little kids, or is it part of their "club" and comes normally?

ANy comments about this would be greatly appreciated.

We are on the 11/2 Eastern and getting ready to make our excursion reservations.

Thanks.... Paul

Hmm, that's an old picture, I think. I do remember seeing Captain Hook available for autographs on our first Magic cruise back in 1999, but I don't remember seeing him since then.

I asked my daughter and she DOES remember doing a "pirate activity" in the Oceaneer Club on a later sailing (I have a cute picture of her with a pirate hat and patch over her eye) so there was some kind of pirate thing in the club. She says there was a "guy in a pirate costume" at the activity, but not Captain Hook. ;)

Hope that helps!

My six year old daughter did "WHO WANTS TO BE A PIRATE" in the oceanear club. She liked it alot and they painted her face and she got the eye patch.

My son loves pirates. Capt Hook was also available for photos, as well as Smee, and Wendy.

Also, in Mickey Mates, there is alot to choose from toy wise in the pirate section. My son was very happy! A pretty good selection and the prices weren't out of this world!

You could always contact Shirley from the Perfect Gift and have her design a "Pirate" basket for your son. That would probably launch him into space. :)

If your son is into Pirates then the Pirate Museum
is a must see.
It is in Nassau (Heart of Pirate Country) it is down
the main street, not too far but a nice walk. Anyone
should be able to give you directions or you can take
a cab. They have a web site
(www.pirates-of-nassau.com)
and it will give you prices to go through the museum,
tell you what all is there, etc.
We really enjoyed it, hope you and your son will also.

Okay, now I'm excited too! :Pinkbounc

I wasn't to thrilled with the sounds of many offered shore excurions, but this my family will really get into! :sunny:
