has anyone stayed at c/b in one of the pirate rooms think about book one my sons is 5 and ithink he would love it just wondering if it worth it

Can't help, but we are planning on staying at CBR this summer in a pirate room.

I think my DS and DH will love it!

we stayed at c/b a few years ago and really liked it , i dont know if it true or not but i have heard that where the pirate rooms are ,are far away from food and pool

We stayed in a pirate room in Oct. DS4 and DD12 both loved it.

It is a bit of a walk to the big pool and the food (we were in Trinidad-South I think), but there was a quiet pool close by. Honestly we didn't mind the walk, we figure walking is part of being at Disney. There is an internal bus that runs just inside CB. We found the walk quicker though and the kids liked playing in the sand, sitting in the hammocks, and looking at the wildlife (we actually saw a gator) along the way.

The room itself was nice. The beds are shaped like ships and DS had fun taking Mommy for a cruise to Hawaii one night. Both kids got excited when we rode POTC, because they were pointing out the similarities between the room and the ride. DS got really excited when we went to the last scene where Jack is rocking and is surrounded by his treasure, because we had that scene as the picture in our room,
