Pirate Quest at Disneyland

Did I miss something?! I just heard that the Pirate Quest during the tour will end this month, is that true? We're going the first week of December and I will die if that is true. We already got the haunted mansion in World. Please tell me this is not true!

Also, how difficult is it to get on tour. Let me know what I need to do!

Can't be sure, but I believe the pirate quest is running through at least the end of the year. It was brought in to replace the Haunted Mansion quest, which can't be done right now because of the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay.
