Pirate/Princess Party

Has anyone done the Pirate and Princess Party?
We're planning to go to WDW from May 1-8, and it's going to be on May 1. I'm pretty sure we'd be totally pushing it to go on the night we arrive (our kids will be 5 & 1 in May).
So, we'd have to change our dates or skip the party.
Just wondering if it's worth it.
We haven't booked flights yet, so it's do-able, but I'm not sure if it's really worth it or not???

yes,I have been to 2 of them. August 2007 and April 2008. We had a great time and thought it was worth it. When I went in April I only had 2 days at the parks so that was my one park day. We were able to get in at 4pm both times. The short lines make it so worth it. If your little one falls asleep and you take turns you and your hubby would be able to practically walk onto rides with your 5 year old.
