Please give me advice on what to have my dd2 wear to the party! She is sjust now getting out of 12 mos jeans and into the 18 mos size. (she will actually be 2 end of January.) She wears 18 mos in the top. I bought her a princess dress size 1-2 that was in with all the costumes at Target. It is a pretty dress, but nothing real fancy and not Disney. It is long, navy blue with gold detail on the top half. It is also short sleeve. I would really like a long sleeve dress or something I can put a coat over her if it is cold in Feb because she has Raynaud's Disease and she has to stay warm.
We are going to the party in Feb. Should I have her wear this dress or do you think I should get her a Disney Princess dress, or a fancier dress? My husband likes the Snow White dress and I like a blue Cinderella dress by Little Adventures. Can I find a dress to fit her - most are sizes 2-4? Maybe she will grow a little between now and Feb.
We don't celebrate Halloween, so this is my first chance to dress my kids up for a costume party. Maybe I should just buy another dress. As I write this I think I am answering my own question.
Also, do the parents dress up as well? If I get her the Snow White dress, is it too cheesy for me to get the same dress, if I do dress up?
