We are hoping that Disney will have some very early-June dates (June 3rd hopefully). If they do, I will be taking my daughter.

She is easily scared. Not at the moment, but when she lies down for bed. She loves HM, but cannot ride it in the evenng, it bothers her for some reason.

We saw something like a Haunted Libertybell Riverboat Ride and she is interested, but mostly because I think she is worried.

I did an internet search and could not really find enough to share with her. We also looked on YouTube, but could not find enough for her to get the info she wanted.

1 - Is this a scary attraction for easily scared (or even small) children?
2 - Is it (the Libertybell attraction) the same thing they have at MSSHP? My friend has told us about that and she is okay with it.

One other question - are the same attractions open during PP that are open for MVMCP & MNSSHP? I peeked at a map online for the party and it seemed like fewer things were open.

TIA. :flower3:

I honestly do not remember if the Haunted boat ride was happening at the P&P Parties (we did both August and May) but it wasn't on our radar screen either.

In terms of the scare factor, I would think MNSSHP would rank higher. This party is just as much geared towards princesses as pirates (in fact more so IMHO).

The parade is very well done, with the princesses first and then the pirates, but not over the top scary (Spectro is probably more intense than this one)

The fireworks are probably the best themed ones that WDW has ever done. The pirates show up, tink flies and there is a happy ending.

In terms of less rides, we didn't notice this. We have done MNSSHP, MVMVP plus the 2 PPP for comparison.

HTH!

There hasn't been a haunted Liberty Belle ride during MNSSHP for a couple of years now. The ship remains docked and its unload area is used as a candy station for trick or treating.

For the P&PP, there's the "The Legend of the Jolly Roger Haunted Riverboat" ride. The only thing really different is that the narration is changed to tell a slightly spooky pirate story. It's not really scary. In fact, several people have reported that they couldn't even hear it. pirate:

Thank you VERY MUCH Brian. That is exactly the information I was looking for. I will tell my kiddo and then we will keep our fingers crossed hoping for a PPP.
